I am writing this weekā€™s newsletter from Ecuador, where I have climbed several high altitude volcanoes including Cayambe (which is at 19,000 ft (5,800 m)). I can definitely say that Cayambe had one of the harshest environments I have ever been in. Iā€™ve recorded this video for those of you who are interested.
